Diversity at Nissan

Nissan is a manufacturer that knows sport utility vehicles. The Japanese manufacturer offers more SUVs than most of its competitors with no less than 6 models available to consumers. Indeed, those interested in versatility and space can turn to the all-new Murano, or the Rogue, one of the most popular SUVs in its segment.

There's also the Juke, the seven-passenger Pathfinder, the rugged XTerra, or the sumptuous Armada. This week in Frankfurt, the automaker unveiled a completely different kind of SUV concept with the Gripz, a small crossover that focuses primarily on performance.

Nissan's Gripz impresses many

With the Gripz, Nissan reminds us of the 240Z Safari Rally, an off-road version of Nissan's famous sports car that conquered the African plains in the 1970s. The objective of the Gripz is to offer a sportier ride while being able to tackle any terrain. It is also a styling study that allows us to see Nissan's visual direction. In other words, it could very well be that some of the design elements of the Nissan concept will be found on other Nissan models in the near future. We can already see similarities with the new Murano or the new Maxima.

With the Gripz, Nissan has certainly stolen the show at the Frankfurt Motor Show. To learn more about the Nissan lineup, contact us today at Belvédère Nissan!
